A Bear Called Paddington

In the book A Bear called Paddington a bear named Paddington has been founded by the Browns.  So far this book is about all of his adventures.  One of his adventures is at his first restaurant.  He is very hungry and has never eaten a bun before.  Before too long he is wearing most of it, he has lots of jelly in his hair and is in a great big mess. 

The second adventure is taking a bath for the first time.  He almost drowned, and then Judy and Jonathan come save him.  Another time he has an adventure is when he goes on his first shopping expedition.  He rides on the subway for the first time.  Then on an escalator for the first time.  When he reaches the top he realizes he is lost.  An important thing I left out was that he was named after the train station they found him at.  So he reads the sign. 

It says this way to Paddington; he recognizes his name and follows the signs.  When he is lost he runs into a security guard, then Judy and her mom shows up.  They bail him and every thing is good.  He rummages in a shop window is another adventure he has on his shopping trip.  The store manager is happy though because he attracted more customers.  At last they get home. 

A final adventure that I am going to tell you about is when he goes to the beach and gets swept out with the tide.  If you want to find out more then read the book.
